I love all projects- big or small. Each one is an expression of joy, of dreams, of colour.
As the world around us seems to be losing its light, now and then certain people, ideas, projects, enter our lives allowing the world of dreams to inspire us. We are then reminded how great this odyssey we live in, truly is.
I am happy to share a few of these projects
What you see, when attending a cirque show, is what you get, when working on a cirque show.
I am proud to say that I began working with this company in the early 90’s. The imagination, the dreams, the beautiful artists, the behind the scenes- it is truly like no other. We have fun, we work hard and there is that sense of family. It is a company with a beautiful spirit that just keeps on shining.

On September 22, 2012 FIFA President Blatter personally congratulated me on “FIFA’s most spectacular Opening ceremony.”
I believe I set a record in time. An opening ceremony with 600 performers from Azerbaijan with a cast of 30 performers from Cirque du Soleil from start to finish in 16 days.
Jacques Rogue, president of the IOC declared that Vancouver “embraced the Olympic Games like no other city in the world before. “
“This world-class team is filled with artists who know how to wow audiences at international events. Ceremonies volunteers are going to be working with the best of the best; “
Well I agree. It was a dream of a project to work on these ceremonies. I got to collaborate with the best in the world and I have developed outstanding relationships with artists who are leaders in their fields.

Large events and ceremonies such as this presents the opportunity to assemble the local community through music, movement and storytelling as they welcome people from other lands. It is what I absolutely love about doing ceremonies and it is why I do them every now and then. My humanitarian side resonates so well with this form of communication.
Working with the best contemporary dancers of Europe, Africa, Viet Nam and India and bringing them all together in one performance was a true gift. I would do it over again and again and again.
It is with honour and pleasure to assemble people through movement and music for causes and charities such as these.
Earth Day Celebration in Montreal Canada, was the largest mass cast I worked with thus far; 300.000 people formed the image of a hand that transformed into a tree.
I united the best young talent in Canada in 2011, and to this day I still have goose bumps. Imagine a 12 year old singer moving the audience to tears one minute and having them jump out of their seats cheering half way through a song the next . and then, followed by a 7 year old dancer that brought the house down.. An evening of wonder, inspiration and pure genius.
Café Diablo received standing ovations every single show. It was created in Holland and was quoted as “a rare Dutch treat”. It was a little gem of a show that flowed from my imagination so easily. Plus I had a dream cast of amazing and generous performers.
People are still talking of this show.
Who knows, perhaps a re-mount!

This is where televised large scale ceremonies all started for me. Little did I know when I was approached to choreograph a show with 500 people that a whole new side of my career would open for me. A side that I had not planned on, and a side that I now recognize has become a unique specialty.
I love stadiums!
